Chemical safety assessment (CSA)
Based on the available or new newly generated data, the CSA will be performed under consideration of the following aspects:
- Phys. chem. hazards:
e.g. flammability, self-ignition, oxidising properties, explosivity
- Human health hazards:
- acute toxicity, irritation/corrosion, sensitisation, genetic toxicity, repeated dose toxicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, carcinogenicity, specific further endpoints if required
- derivation of DNELs or DMELs
- Environmental fate
- degradation, accumulation, transport and distribution
- Ecotoxicity
- aquatic, sediment and terrestrial toxicity
- derivation of PNECs
PBT and vPvB assessment
